Spring Onion Buns


Sejak2 berjauhan dgn en.hubby, aku seboleh-bolehnya nak jugak jaga makan-minum dia.. (tapi minum kena cari sendiri ler.. heheheh).. Bila dia balik tu aku akan bekalkan apa2 saja yg aku rasa dia leh makan waktu dia lapar.. sebab en.hubby ni pesennya mmg mkn sikit, tapiiiiiiiiiii kerap a.k.a byk kali.. bila jauh2 camni, biaq le dia rasa ada juga air tangan isteri dia kan.. hehehe.. Baru-baru ni ada buat bun untuk dia.. jom kita tgk.. utk sapa2 nak try resepi leh copy eh..


SPRING ONION BUNS
Bread dough A :
300gm hith protein flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tbsp milk powder
1 tbs bread improver
50gm caster sugar

Bread dough B :
125ml water
1 1/2 tsp instant yeast (mauripan)
1 egg - grade B
Bread dough C :
40gm butter

For Topping
1/2 egg - grade B
30gm spring onion (finely diced)
30gm mayonnaise
some salt
* extra mayonnaise ( in piping beg)

For Glazing
1 egg (beaten)

Method :
Topping:
1. Mix all ingredients together and keep chilled till needed.

Bread Dough :
1. Combined ingredient A in a mixer. Blend well.
2. Add in ingredient B. Beat until a dough is formed.
3. Add in ingredient C and beat till dough is smooth and elastic to the touch.
4. Leave dough in a big bowl, covered with a damp cloth in a warm place for 40 minutes.
5. Once doubled in size, divide dough into 35g portions. Shape into small balls.
6. Flatten and roll out each ball of dough into a long strips.
7. Roll up the dough.
8. Lay them on a greased baking tray. Arrange a few pieces in a row.
9. Arrange the second spaced apart to allow spreading.
10. Cover and rest for another 40 minutes.
11. Glaze with beated egg. Spread some filling (topping) on top. Pipe some mayonnaise.
12. Bake in preheated oven at 180c for 10-15 minutes.
13. Cool well on wire rack.
